About me
I’m a composer from Germany, currently based in Vienna. My background is rooted in guitar, but over the years I’ve expanded into a wide range of instruments and areas of music, from piano, bass and drums to orchestral writing, synthesizers, sound design and soundscapes. I’ve always been interested in understanding how different instruments work and feel, because I believe that knowing an instrument from the inside helps me write for it in a more natural and musical way. I studied Media Music at JAM MUSIC LAB Private University in Vienna, where I completed my Bachelor’s degree.
I’m particularly interested in writing music for film and interactive media. What I enjoy most is when music feels like a natural part of what’s happening on screen, rather than something that’s simply playing in the background.
I like music that has its own character, but still knows when to step back and let the story speak. At the same time, I love those moments when a score catches you off guard and makes you stop and listen. For me, the best film music does both. It supports the story while still feeling like something that could stand on its own.
Projects & Interests
Alongside composing, I work as a music producer for pop and rock artists, play guitar and bass in bands, and work as a session musician. I’ve also worked on a musical project as the guitarist and lead producer of the music, as well as creating music and sound design for theatre. My own work is usually quite hybrid, combining orchestral elements, live instruments and modern production. I’m currently building my portfolio in film and interactive media and looking forward to working on new projects.
